The College Media Association, the nation’s largest organization dedicated to serving collegiate media advisers, announced Adell Crowe, director of Student Media at WVU, as a recipient of the 2020 Distinguished Adviser Award.
The Distinguished Adviser Award is presented to a CMA member who has had five years or more experience in college student media advising.
“The goal of the Student Media has always been simple: Make sure each student has what he or she needs to succeed,” said Crowe, who was nominated for the award by students. “And the Student Media professional staff knows we are getting it right when we see dozens of WVU students take the skills they learned in the classroom and honed in Student Media to land internships and launch successful careers.”
