National Boss’s Day is tomorrow (Oct. 16) and the WVU STAR team has created some ways for you to show your appreciation and support to your Boss on this special day. Check out these 10 ways to make Boss’s Day memorable.
Send a Boss’s Day Go Beyond eCard
Fill up a break room, bulletin board or any shared workspace with thank you notes
Host a Virtual Boss’s Day Surprise Party via Teams or Zoom
Surprise them with some Tasty Treats – bonus if you attach some of our pre-made candy tags
Create a video – ask everyone on the team to record a message for your leader and compile them into one video for a lifetime keepsake
Decorate their workspace – grab some balloons, pick a theme and have some fun (while maintaining social distancing of course)
Tell them how you’ve seen them modeling our WVU Values of Service, Curiosity,
Respect, Accountability and AppreciationWrite a handwritten card with a thoughtful message
Show an intangible gesture. Ask them what step you could take to make their job easier
Simply tell them thank you for leading the team through this crazy year we call 2020
