Encourage students to enter 2020 Campus Read essay contest

The Office of Graduate Education and Life is sponsoring an essay contest open to graduate and professional students relevant to the themes of the 2020-21 Campus Read “The Girl Who Smiled Beads: A Story of War and What Comes After by Clemantine Wamariya.” The top three entries will be awarded $100 as judged by a selection panel and the submission deadline is Oct. 30.

The Office of Graduate Education and Life received one of six Campus Read Integration Grants made available by the Office of the Provost and the WVU Humanities Center. To encourage graduate students to read and learn from the 2020-21 Campus Read text, OGEL gave away 12 books in a random drawing.
