This Labor Day weekend, the West Virginia University buses will operate on an adjusted schedule.
Saturday, Sept. 5: All WVU bus routes will operate on normal hours from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 6, and Monday, Sept. 7: The Country Roads Loop will be the only route operating; it will run from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on both days.
All WVU bus routes will resume normal service on Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 6:30 a.m.
In addition, Mountain Line Transit Authority buses will operate on an adjusted schedule. They will operate all routes as scheduled on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, Mountain Line buses will not operate. They will resume normal service on Tuesday. You can ride all local Mountain Line buses for free with a valid WVU ID.
As a reminder, WVU is operating white Coach USA charter buses this fall. Mountain Line buses, which WVU does not operate, are the green buses. On WVU buses, bus riders will be seated every other row in a checkerboard pattern to adhere to physical distancing guidelines. Face masks or face coverings are required on all WVU and Mountain Line buses.
