Adventure WV will offer several virtual and in-person welcome activities and trips on campus or within 30 minutes of Morgantown to help students unwind and get in touch with their inner Mountaineer.

The small group sessions will help connect students with one another and bring some free fun and excitement into this tumultuous time. The daily activities will begin Aug.15, and continue through Aug. 25.

Virtual sessions are a way for students to interact with each other and learn more about the resources WVU has to offer while awaiting their Covid-19 test results. The one-hour sessions with the Carruth Center will be offered daily from noon to 3 p.m.  No pre-registration is required, and students can just drop in using the Zoom links

On-campus sessions are great opportunities for incoming first-year students to become acquainted with campus. Activities will include paddling, biking, exploring hidden parts of campus, crafts, yoga and more. Pre-registration is not required and most sessions will run daily at the times indicated, unless noted otherwise. Students can find more information on activities offered, dates/times and participation requirements.

Travel sessions will focus on showing students what adventures await them less than 30 minutes from campus. These activities will allow students to bond with one another while partaking in thrilling activities such as hiking, navigating a challenge course and mountain biking. Students will travel via coach bus and pre-registration is required. These sessions will be offered daily at the times indicated.
