The ITS Service Desk will stay open until 10 p.m. Aug. 8-15 to help support students returning to all WVU campuses.

To request help from Information Technology Services, call 304-293-4444. Find answers to common questions in our Knowledge Base, find assistance with a specific service using the Service Catalog or use the General Request form if you can’t find what you need.

Students can also find valuable information about Duo two-factor authentication, WVU Login accounts, campus Wi-Fi options, and many other services at it.wvu.edu/students.

Starting Sunday, Aug. 16, normal Service Desk hours will be:

  • 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday

  • 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday

  • 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday

  • 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday

We anticipate heavy call volumes as students and faculty prepare for the start of the fall semester, so you may experience extended wait times.

Walkup support is also available at the ITS Service Centers Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Mountainlair and in G-118 of Bennett Tower. Those two locations will have extra weekend hours to support move-in, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 8-9 and Aug. 15-16. Service Centers will be closed all other weekends.

Note that many WVU Login passwords have expired over the summer, and you may need to update yours. While on that site, we also recommend you generate and securely store 10 Duo bypass codes that will let you complete your login even if you forget your phone, run down the battery or replace it. These codes don’t expire until they are used, and when you run out, you can print 10 more.
