OLLI seeking volunteer instructors for Summer 2020

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at WVU is seeking volunteers to share their expertise and interests with older adults in West Virginia by giving a lecture, leading a discussion, or teaching a class for OLLI online during our upcoming summer term.

During this time of physical distancing and isolation, OLLI’s mission of providing intellectually stimulating and socially engaging opportunities for older adults in the community is more important than ever.

OLLI at WVU offers non-credit educational opportunities designed for adults 50+ in a variety of subjects, including the arts, history and literature, health and wellness, science and math, social and political sciences, and more.

The summer term runs from July 7 through Aug. 29. All classes will be held online via Zoom, with technological support from the OLLI staff.

The deadline for summer course proposals is Monday, April 27.
