Measuring the impact of your research is an important step in the process for gathering evidence of how your research will affect society. It is also important when applying for positions, seeking promotion and tenure, and finding grant funding. This introductory Research Commons workshop will provide an overview of traditional and nontraditional scholarly metrics and will discuss tools to promote your research impact. Topics also include citation analysis, journal impact factor, h-index and altmetrics. Join us March 10 from noon-1 p.m. in the Health Sciences Library, Room LC-2.
