The Division of Talent and Culture and the Go Beyond STAR Team are announcing the inaugural Employee Appreciation Week at WVU.
National Employee Appreciation Day is Friday, March 6, and we have several fun activities planned throughout next week. Highlights include:

A virtual scavenger hunt on Facebook and Twitter (eight winners will receive dining vouchers courtesy of WVU Dining Services).

A free one-week of membership (March 2 – 8) to the Rec Center for faculty and staff.

New “appreciation” e-cards on the Go Beyond recognition portal. Congratulations to our create-a-card contest winners:

First place: Chris Morlock, college recruitment specialist at the John Chambers College of Business and Economics.

Runners-up: Ben Mitter, communications officer, at University Police; and Halley Kurtz, professional technologist at the College of Education and Human Services.

A wellness appreciation event on Monday (March 2) from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Rec Center.

Pop-up popcorn stations at the Downtown and Evansdale Visitors Centers.
