A native of Morgantown, Cross walked to school every year of his life in our public school system. After living in Los Angeles for 10 years, he returned in 2002 and became active with civic functions. He is currently chairman of the Pedestrian Safety Board and Traffic Commission.
The mission of the Morgantown Pedestrian Safety Board and Traffic Commission is to educate the public on the rights and responsibilities of walkers, bicyclists and motorists.
The installation of new traffic controls in the past year will be discussed, as well as the promotion of walking and biking as a remedy for increases in vehicle congestion.
