The Humanities Center will host an evening of lightning talks—seven 10-minute sessions—that cover “Humanities: Engaging with the Past, Present, and Future” to highlight recent humanities research at WVU Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. int he Rhododendron Room at the Mountainlair.

  • Lisa Di Bartolomeo [World Languages, Literature, and Linguistics] with Pablo Garcia Loaeza [World Languages, Literature, and Linguistics] (Collaboration) “Culture Kits” for local K-12 educational contexts.

  • Rose Casey (Fellow) [English] “Make Change! How Books Act Upon the World.”

  • Kristina Olson with Sally Deskins (Collaboration) [Art History, WVU Libraries] “Appalachian Futures: a Traveling Exhibit & Programming” in the WVU Libraries.
