The nomination period for the 2020-2022 Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship Applied Faculty Fellows Program is now open. The program presents a unique and exciting opportunity for faculty to be directly involved in the creation of curriculum to enhance student skills in innovation, design and entrepreneurship.

As a cohort, the Fellows will work with LaunchLab Executive Director Carrie White in Morgantown and faculty members at WVU’s Morgantown campus, WVU Tech and Potomac State College to recommend activities and initiatives and act as cross-campus champions of entrepreneurship education.

Those wishing to apply should submit a letter of interest, CV or resume, letters of support and a proposal of a new course or modification of an existing course to support the goals of the cross-campus entrepreneurship initiative. Proposals will be selected in accordance with alignment to program goals; anticipated number, level and major of the students to be served; and the applicant’s enthusiasm for the program and ability to cooperate with the cohort.

More complete and detailed information on the IDEA Faculty Fellows Program can be found on the LaunchLab website, along with a list of all previous IDEA Fellows. Any interested faculty members with specific questions about the program or application process should contact Dr. Carrie White directly at cwhite17@mail.wvu.edu.

Nominations for the Fellows class of 2020-2022 will be accepted until midnight March 6.
