Bingyun Li’s paper titled “Bacteria antibiotic resistance: New challenges and opportunities for implant-associated orthopaedic infections” was selected as a Top Cited Article by the Journal of Orthopaedic Research, the official publication of the Orthopaedic Research Society.
Li’s paper was previously invited and published by the editor-in-chief of the journal and was one of only five papers that were selected on Jan. 31. These selected papers will be accessible for free until March 1. Based on google scholar, Li’s paper (J Orthop Res. 2018;36:22-32) has been cited 178 times since it was e-published in Aug. 2017. Li is a professor in orthopaedics and has published more than 90 peer-reviewed journal papers with an H-index of 38.
His research in bone infection has been recognized nationally and internationally, including the 2011 Berton Rahn Research Prize from AO Foundation (Switzerland), the 2013 Pfizer Best Scientific Paper Award from the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association Annual Meeting, and the 2013 Collaborative Exchange Award from the Orthopaedic Research Society.
