WVU Career Services to host inaugural STEM Fair

STEM Fair

The Career Services Center will host WVU's first STEM Career and Internship Fair today (Jan. 29) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Student Recreation Center.

The STEM Fair, formerly the Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources Career and Internship Fair, will bring more than 120 companies to campus.

This event, which caters to more than 40 majors across seven schools and colleges, will provide students and alumni the invaluable opportunity to speak face-to-face with a variety of companies while also improving networking and professional skills.

While STEM-focused, this fair is open to all majors. Students are encouraged to come prepared and explore their options because each fair offers something different. While students are dressed professionally, they are encouraged to get a free professional headshot to update their LinkedIn or Handshake profiles. Students can find more information about the career fairs and a list of participating employers on Handshake.
