Participate in Remake Learning Days to ignite learning experiences for West Virginia students

Remake Learning Days

As the regional lead for Remake Learning Days in West Virginia, the West Virginia Public Education Collaborative encourages faculty, staff, students and community members to host an event between May 7-17.

Remake Learning Days is a grassroots celebration of innovative learning for kids of all ages, families, caregivers, educators and local leaders. Serving as an open house for schools, teachers and organizations to showcase fun, hands-on, future-ready learning, these events offer a wide variety of activities from building robotics to creating art.

While Remake Learning Days began in Pittsburgh, they have now expanded to regions nationwide, including throughout West Virginia! In 2020, the WVPEC encourages the WVU community to take part by hosting an event or inviting local groups across the state to get involved.

To learn more information about Remake Learning Days, look at a brochure with examples of past events, or submit an event, you can visit the WVPEC website, www.wvpec.wvu.edu. Small stipends (around $250 - $500) are available to hosts again this year, and can be used for any event expenses (supplies, advertising, food), if necessary.

Event submissions are due by Feb. 14. Please contact Maggie McDonald at mgmcdonald@mail.wvu.edu or 304.293.1982 if you have any questions about the submission process.

Thanks in advance for your continued engagement and support of innovative learning!
