Throughout the summer WVU Dining Services and Student Life renovated Hatfield’s, Jazzman’s Brew and Bakery (formerly JACS) as well as a few common seating areas and spaces in the Mountainlair to offer a refreshed and enhanced student dining experience. Due to a significant amount of construction dust from the removal of old ceramic tile and the installation of new tile in the Mountainlair food court area, the international flags that hung from the ceiling were taken down to be professionally cleaned and pressed.
While the flags are down for cleaning, Strategic Initiatives is working with Global Affairs to inventory the current flag display and to ensure the flag collection is an accurate reflection of WVU’s student population.
WVU Interior Design Management, housed under Planning, Design, Construction & Scheduling within the Division of Auxiliary and Business Services, will work to reimagine the flag display this fall
