2019 Summer Harp Week scheduled for the end of July

The Community Music Program announces its last summer activity: the 2019 Summer Harp Week July 29 - Aug. 2, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m, daily. This week-long session will culminate with an outreach performance at the Village at Heritage Point, Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. The week of intensive harp study, under the direction of WVU and Community Music Harp Instructor Christine Mazza  includes two daily private lessons, practice time and ensemble rehearsals. Bring a brown bag lunch every day, for a 30-minute rest. In addition to the end-of-week performance, Thursday will also be Taco Night, hosted by the Mazza family. Aug. 2 will wind the week down with a possible casual performance around the Creative Arts Center. *Some harp experience is recommended as necessary, but will be left to Mazza’s discretion. The cost of full time registration will be $248.47 (+ $10.00 Term Processing Fee). Those who can only commit to a maximum of 2.5 hours-per-day and/or a maximum of 2.5 days-per-week can register as half-time participants for $125 (+$10 Term Processing Fee).
