The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at WVU is currently seeking volunteer instructors to teach a wide variety of courses for our fall term, including the arts, literature, history, philosophy and religion, current events, political affairs, science, math, health and wellness and more for our campuses in Morgantown and Charleston.
Classes, one-to-six sessions long, are offered 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, although evening and weekend classes are encouraged as well. The fall term runs Sept. 30 through Nov. 9. The deadline for fall class proposals is July 13.
OLLI at WVU depends on the generosity of our volunteer instructors to teach the quality courses and learning experiences offered throughout the year. Drawn from all walks of life, many OLLI instructors are current and retired teachers, university professors and administrators, business and civic leaders, and other professionals from the community who wish to share their knowledge and passion.
Designed for adults 50 and older, OLLI classes are from tests or grades. Instructors experience the joy of teaching students who are enthusiastic, engaged and eager to learn.
