Sociology professor to talk about his recent book ‘Religion and Science’ at retired faculty program

Chris Scheitle from the Department of Sociology and Anthropology will present on “Religion and Science: Perspectives of U.S. Adults and Science Graduate Students,” followed by a Q & A session June 5 at 2:30 p.m. at the Village at Heritage Point. His talk highlights his recent book, “Religion vs Science: What Religious People Really Think” (with Elaine Howard Ecklund; Oxford University Press), which is based on a national study of U.S. adults’ attitudes about religion, science and the relationship between the two.
