The WVU IDEA Hub encourages students, faculty, staff and community members to attend the second annual Demo Day April 25 to celebrate the robust culture of innovation, entrepreneurship and design university-wide. Discover the vast scope of innovative ideas, leading-edge inventions, working prototypes, the latest in fashion, creative arts performances, landscape architecture designs, unique business ventures and much more, all day, across all Morgantown campuses. Nearly all colleges, as well as WVU’s regional campuses, will participate in day-long activities.

From pitch competitions, expos on social issues, interactive exhibits, prototype stations and engineering showcases, to fashion and design displays, lemonade stands and open houses, there are opportunities for all ages, professions and interest areas to join in and embrace new ideas across WVU.

See a complete list of events and in-depth details of all activities, as well as reception locations and opportunities to vote for your favorite innovative ideas and projects.

Free parking and a shuttle service from the gold gate will also be available at the WVU Coliseum. Interactive maps will help attendees navigate their Demo Day journey and a brochure of the full event schedule will be distributed at certain locations throughout the day.

Parents, it is also Bring Your Child To Work Day, so mark your calendars and attend Demo Day with your kids.

The WVU IDEA Hub is a university-wide network of centers, offices and programs that fosters and supports innovation and entrepreneurship among WVU students, faculty and staff while engaging the statewide community.
