Join WVU Women's Lacrosse Team and the Office of Wellness and Health Promotion in the Yards for Yeardley 5k April 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Student Recreation Center. The race will take place on the Evansdale 5k route with registration beginning at 6 p.m.

Yards for Yeardley was started to bring community awareness to the One Love Foundation, which was created to educate young people and communities about the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviors, while honoring the memory of Yeardley Love, a member of the University of Virginia Women's Lacrosse Team who was beaten to death by her ex-boyfriend.

WVU Women's Lacrosse, WELLWVU, and Campus Recreation collaboratively work to host this race and bring awareness to the issue of domestic violence. To join us in our efforts, register for Yards for Yeardley.
