The purpose of the Council for Women’s Concerns is to promote the equality and empowerment of women in all areas of the University and local community life - as such we are looking for proposals from students to further those goals. Some examples, but certainly not the only activities that would be supported are travel to attend a conference highlighting women's concerns, a training for peer sexual health advocates, creation of an art piece highlighting these issues, etc. Send a one-page proposal explaining how your planned activity meets those goals and a copy of your vita or résumé, highlighting your work related to said goals (two-page maximum). Include a budget of up to $500 (not included in the one-page limit). Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. April 9. Submit to mcpage@mail.wvu.edu.
