Founded in 1977, the Council has upheld a presence throughout the evolving response to women’s issues. The WVU Council for Women’s Concerns, which promotes the equality of all women in the academic and local communities, is seeking applicants to fill upcoming vacancies. The Council membership is composed of WVU faculty, staff, students and affiliates, as well as community members.
We are accepting applications for 2019-2020. Council members serve three-year terms. The council meets once per month and each member is assigned committee membership based upon their interests.
The application deadline is Thursday (March 21) at 5 p.m.
