WVCTSI’s Clinical and Translational Research Seminar Series will partner with the West Virginia Practice-Based Research Network to present a series of seminar on community-engaged research.
In the first entry, Dr. William Lewis, family medicine physician and co-director of the WVPBRN, and Stacey Whanger, WVPBRN network manager, will present, “How to Effectively Engage in Research in a Community or Practice Based Setting.” This session will be held Friday (Feb. 15) from 11 a.m. to noon in room 201 of the WVU Health Sciences Center Erma Byrd Biomedical Research Building.
This session will also feature a Q&A discussion with Dr. Treah Haggerty, WVCTSI research scholar and family medicine physician, and Mary LeCloux, WVCTSI pilot grant recipient and assistant professor in the School of Social Work.
