Ten WVU student-athletes were awarded the 2018 Dr. Gerald Lage Academic Achievement Award by the Big 12 Conference, the league's highest academic honor. Marah Bieger (women's swimming & diving), Amelie Currat (women's swimming & diving) Allie Diehl (cross country), Gianna Gotterba (volleyball), Elizabeth Gratz (rifle), Alli Magaletta (women's soccer), Shamoya McNeil (track & field), Andrea Pettit (track & field/cross country), Abigail Rosiello (women's tennis) and Makenzie Stolar (women's tennis) were among the 92 Big 12 student-athletes honored.
