Generation West Virginia, the statewide organization dedicated to attracting and retaining young talent in the Mountain State, is hosting an information session and press conference on Wednesday (March 7) at the Media Innovation Center at Evansdale Crossing to promote their Impact Fellowship program and upcoming application deadline.

The Personal Rapid Transit system, Campus Shuttle and ADA Service will not be in operation during spring break beginning March 10. All services will resume operations on March 19.

Emma Harrison found her passion for expanding educational opportunities for imprisoned people in a West Virginia University class she shared with incarcerated men. That passion has led to her selection as a finalist for the prestigious Truman Scholarship, the premier award for those who are pursuing careers in public service.

West Virginia University’s Global Supply Chain Management program has not be around a long time, but you would never know that from the accolades it has received in its short life. Those accolades kept right on coming this past weekend, as a student supply chain competition team from the WVU College of Business and Economics was named divisional champion of the international Supply Chain Skills Challenge on Feb. 24 at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.
