Join the WVU Women's Resource and WVU Peer Advocates n the Mountainlair Wednesday (March 28) from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for a facilitated workshop on how to learn the skills negotiate a more equitable salaries and start closing the gap.

 

Join the WVU Peer Advocates and WELLWVU in the Lincoln Hall Theatre Thursday (March 29) from 6 pm. to 8 p.m. for a guided discussion on suicide prevention and awareness.

The Eight Pin, No-Tap Team Bowling Tournament will be held in the Mountainlair Games Area April 3-12. Students are encouraged to enter with a team at a cost of $25 per team. Trophies will be awarded to the top ten teams along with individual trophies for top bowlers. To register, email Bryan.Denis@mail.wvu.edu or call the Mountainlair Games Area at 304.293.2206.

In the face of the national opioid epidemic, the West Virginia University College of Education and Human Services will launch its minor in addiction studies beginning in the fall of 2018. The minor, open to undergraduate students in all academic disciplines, will provide students with a broad-based view of addiction theories, assessment and treatment to prepare them for employment in substance use disorder treatment and related settings.
