Conducting scholarly research on teaching and learning

The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning is the scholarly inquiry into student learning to advance the practice of teaching. SoTL uses evidence-based methods to conduct this inquiry. In this workshop, titled “SoTL Overview: Effective Research on Teaching and Learning,” you will learn about effective strategies for conducting research on teaching and learning, particularly in your own courses, and about the steps to move from research idea to project.
