The Student Events Board and Mountaineer Week are sponsoring a drive for The Rack Wednesday (Oct. 24) from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., across from the Mountainlair in the brick area, weather permitting, or inside the Mountainlair if not.

Items Needed:

Dairy: Milk, Yogurt and Cheese

  • nonfat dry milk

  • evaporated milk

  • instant breakfast drinks


Protein Foods: Meat, Beans, and Nuts

  • canned or dried beans

  • canned chili

  • canned tuna

  • canned chicken

  • canned beef stews

  • canned salmon

  • canned soup


Grains: Bread, Cereal, Rice, and Pasta

  • bread and muffin mixes

  • canned pastas (Beefaroni, Ramen, Ravioli, & Spaghettios)

  • cold cereals

  • dry noodles and pastas (Egg Noodles, Elbow, Spaghetti, Penne, etc)

  • graham crackers

  • granola bars

  • infant cereal hot cereal mixes

  • macaroni and cheese mix

  • oatmeal

  • pancake mix

  • rice and rice mixes (all types welcome)

  • whole-grain crackers


Condiments

  • honey

  • ketchup

  • mayonnaise

  • salad dressing

  • syrup

  • sugar

  • vegetable oil


Snack Items

  • applesauce cups/cans

  • dried fruits

  • fruit cups

  • fruit snacks

  • Jell-O and pudding cups

  • juice boxes

  • raisins   


Non-Food Items

  • cleaning products

  • feminine hygiene products
