Setting and aligning expectations is important for the quality of a mentoring relationship. We will engage in discussion and activities around designing and communicating clear goals and expectations for a mentored research project, how to listen to and consider mentee expectations of their mentor, how to develop a mentoring compact and how to align mentor-mentee expectations. Join us Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 120 at the Advanced Engineering Research building. Refreshments will be provided.
Presenters: Dr. Paul Hernandez (Assistant Professor in Educational Psychology, Department of Learning Sciences and Human Development) and Dr. Natalie Shook (Associate Professor of Psychology)
