Join the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to close out the 2018 Diversity Week Saturday (Oct. 6).

From noon –1 p.m. on the Health Science Campus, Music at the Pylons will feature faculty, staff and students in the Music Therapy Program. If you’re on the downtown campus head over to the Mountainlair to join Dr. Park’s Insect Zoo with more than 40 different insects.

During most of the day from noon - 7 p.m., Residence Life will host the Tunnel of Awareness, an interactive exhibit increasing awareness of social justice topics that impact our community, our country, and our world, in the Blue and Gold Room Evansdale Towers.

At the Student Recreation Center on this wonderful day from 5:30-7 p.m. in our WVU neighborhood, won’t you be our neighbor and enjoy the award-winning documentary Won’t You Be My Neighbor? Explore and think about the life lessons of kindness, love and acceptance from our dear friend, Mr. Fred Rogers. Enjoy snacks and refreshments while reflecting on a joyous legacy.

Finally ending the day, it will be time to celebrate on the Rooftop of Evansdale Crossing. Let’s end the week with some good food, great music, and some major fun from 7:30-10 p.m. Everyone is welcome to this reunion. Remember – it’s not a panel, it’s a party.

We hope you have enjoyed diversity week as much as we have.
