The Mountaineer Idol Gives Back Campaign will continue its partnership with Jessi’s Pals at WVU Medicine Children’s for the 2018 benefit show Friday (Oct. 5) at 9 p.m. in the Mountainlair Ballrooms.
The program, in conjunction with WVUp All Night and Mountaineer Week, has collected thousands of new stuffed animals for the children at WVU Medicine Children’s since 2007.
All guests are encouraged to bring new stuffed animals to the event. Also,Coca-Cola will donate $5 to WVU Medicine Children’s for every empty can or bottle received at the event.
The WVU student organization that brings in the most stuffed animals and cans/bottles for recycling will receive $500 from Coca-Cola.
A silent auction will be held with 100 percent of the proceeds also going to WVU Medicine Children’s.
