Evansdale Greenhouse selling plants, offering free workshops

The inside of a greenhouse packed with beautiful plants.

The Evansdale Greenhouse is excited to announce that its annual spring sale will begin today (April 13). The garden center will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the next few weeks. Shop from a large selection of annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetable transplants, strawberries and indoor succulents. These plants were grown at WVU by students and staff, and proceeds support the greenhouse and Horticulture Club.

This year, the horticulture students will also present some workshops on herb gardening, making planters and planting for pollinators. This Saturday's workshop on herb gardening will be taught by Harrison Cline and Lauren Cappello and will start at 11 a.m.  It's free and you’ll have a chance to shop from our special herb selection
