Reminder: Mountaineer Marketplace provides two-factor authentication hardware

The DUO logo.

Employees who are purchasing a hardware option for two-factor authentication should use Mountaineer Marketplace if they plan to pay with either state or Research Corp. funding. Just look for the “2 Factor Hardware” button and complete the forms if you don’t want to use the free Duo Mobile app, or you want a secondary device as backup.

To help protect the security of WVU information and systems, all employees on all campuses must enroll in two-factor authentication by April 27.

Barnes & Noble campus bookstores also sell two-factor hardware and will accept either personal funds or a PCard. It is the PCard holder's responsibility to ensure they are complying with University rules.

Two Information Technology Services locations – G49 of Brooke Tower or the IT Service Center in the Mountainlair – cannot process PCard transactions for two-factor hardware or make refunds for unapproved purchases.

Direct any questions about PCard policy to your Expert Business Office.
