April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Join the WVU Council for Women's Concerns for dinner, drinks and a silent auction to raise funds for the WV FRIS Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner training program. This program trains nurses so they can provide crucial services to victims of sexual assault through compassionate and competent medical forensic patient care.
The fundraiser will be held April 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30pm at Table 9 restaurant on the Wharf. A portion of all food proceeds will benefit the cause. In addition, all proceeds from a signature cocktail and mocktail will benefit the cause. During this time, there will also be a silent auction and raffle with incredible items donated from local businesses, where patrons can bid and also support the cause.
The WVU Council for Women's Concerns is committed to an inclusive University community that connects and empowers women in a safe and equitable environment.
