There will be a training for all staff, faculty and advisors on March 27, in the Shenandoah Room of the Mountainlair from 10 a.m. to noon.
The training will focus on best practices when working with veteran students. The session will include a panel-style presentation, followed by a Q&A session with current veteran students. Topics will include resources for the transitioning veteran, mental health resources, Traumatic Brain Injury information, and Office of Accessibility Services.
Veteran students do face challenges and obstacles that traditional students do not. Attend the session to learn more about the resources offered at WVU and how to accommodate our veterans.
