Participants sought for memory and relaxation research study

Adults 50 years of age or older who are troubled by memory problems or have been diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment are needed for this study. We are studying the possible benefits of relaxation practice for enhancing memory, reducing stress, and improving sleep and wellbeing in those with memory concerns. The study involves two visits to the WVU Health Sciences Center to complete brief questionnaires and have blood pressure taken. Participants will practice one of two relaxation practices at home for 12 minutes every day for 12 weeks, or be involved in a 12 week enhanced usual care program for which a log is kept daily.

Compensation is $75 upon completion of study.
