Register now for the Spring Conference of the Institute of Water Security and Science, which will be held Feb. 20-21 at the WVU Erickson Alumni Center. The theme of the conference is “Advances in Water Resource Science and Management in West Virginia, and the Northeastern U.S.”
Dr. Nicholas DiPasquale, former director of the US EPA Chesapeake Bay Program Office, will be the keynote speaker. He will discuss the origin of the Chesapeake Bay restoration effort, the progress made to date and the opportunities and challenges of the program in restoring impaired waters by achieving the total maximum daily load goals by 2025.
This conference will facilitate networking opportunities with representatives from industry, federal and state agencies, institutions of higher education, the private sector, and others, and will include a concurrent poster session to convey information about current research initiatives, progress and discoveries.
