In honor of Black History Month, join the WVU Peer Advocates today (Feb. 14) in the Mountainlair Shenandoah Room from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for a film and discussion "Souls of Black Girls: The Image of Women of Color in the Media" with a discussion to follow. This award-winning documentary explores how the media portrays images of beauty that undercut the self-esteem of African-American women. Listen to African-American girls discuss how today’s pop culture affects the way they see themselves.
