Join The VISTA Collaborative to help Morgantown area children fight the flu.
With this winter's flu outbreak expected to be one of the most severe in 15 years, local after-school programs need donations to prevent the spread of germs. The VISTA Collaborative at the Center for Service and Learning will collect donations of the items listed below on behalf of The Shack Neighborhood House and Mountaineer Boys and Girls Club:
Disinfectant wipes
Disinfectant spray
Hand sanitizer
Hand soap
Tissues
Paper towels
All-purpose cleaner
Bleach
Rubber gloves
Donations will be gratefully accepted at the Law School, the Center for Service and Learning, and Arnold Hall from Feb. 5-28. For your convenience, the VISTA Collaborative will also collect donations in the Mountainlair Commons area on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
