The Council for Women's Concerns is accepting nominations for the Mary Catherine Buswell Award. This accolade, established in 1978, honors a person who has shown a dedication to the advancement of women. Nominees should include University faculty, staff, students or West Virginia citizens who have provided outstanding service to women at the University. Recipients are chosen for excellence in their field as it relates to the advancement of University women; community or civic activities that serve and advance women; and significant pioneering activities that improve the status of women.
