IRS Affordable Care Act Tax Form 1095-C

As you may know, the IRS has extended the deadline for employers to provide Tax Form 1095-C to eligible employees. This form is an annual statement that describes the insurance available to eligible employees.

WVU personnel who met the definition of a full-time employee (as defined by the Affordable Care Act) during 2017 will receive the 1095-C form between today and March 2.

Individuals do not need to send the 1095-C form to the IRS when filing their tax return; however, they should keep a copy of it with their tax records. If you previously have opted to obtain your 1095-C form electronically, you also may have received an email from Paperlessemployee.com notifying you that your form is now available to print.
