Software Carpentry Workshop on Github, Unix Shell and Python planned for January 27-28

Correction: the upcoming Software Carpentry workshop will feature python not "R.” The Research Office, in collaboration with the University Libraries, is pleased to announce the next WVU Software Carpentry Workshop. The two-day course will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 27 and 28 in the Downtown Library, Lower Level room 104 and is aimed at graduate students, postdocs, staff and faculty. You don't have to have any previous experience with python, github or the unix shell; just come with your laptop, and be prepared to learn. See registration link for more details.
