Women's and Gender Studies Fair is today

Women burying time capsule

The semi-annual Women’s and Gender Studies fair is a fantastic way for students to showcase knowledge they’ve gained inside and outside of the classroom on a wide range of social and societal issues. The event allows students to make connections between classroom knowledge and real-world applications as well as allowing students to educate a visiting audience on all they have learned. The fair will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. today (Nov. 28) in the Mountainlair Ballrooms.

This year’s fair will also feature students from Potomac State College, a collaboration facilitated by Jennifer Orlikoff. Orlikoff, now the President of Potomac State, was previously the director for the Center of Women and Gender Studies at WVU. “This is a great opportunity for our students from the Potomac State College campus to participate in the Women’s and Gender Studies Fair in Morgantown and we are looking forward to being a part of this exciting and intellectually provocative event.  What a positive example of ‘OneWVU.’”
