MacArthur Genius Grant recipient presenting ‘The Endangered Clinician-Scientist- a Personal Journey’

The West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute and the Mountaineer Health Initiative will welcome Wafaa El-Sadr, M.D., recipient of the prestigious MacArthur Genius Grant, director of ICAP and university professor of epidemiology and medicine at Columbia University, for a special seminar Thursday (Nov. 16) from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m in the Health Sciences Center Fukushima Auditorium. El-Sadr will present, “The Endangered Clinician-Scientist – a Personal Journey.” This special presentation will highlight the challenges and opportunities encountered by today’s clinician scientists.
