The Department of English will host a reading by Annie Barrows Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the WVU Downtown Library’s Milano Room.
Annie Barrows is the author of the Ivy + Bean series for children; “The Magic Half” and “Magic in the Mix” novels for older children; the young adult novel “Nothing;” and two novels for adults: “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society,” written with her aunt Mary Ann Shaffer, and “The Truth According to Us,” which is set in 1930s West Virginia. Barrows will read from “The Truth According to Us.”
