Volunteers are needed to help people in your community prepare their tax returns in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Volunteer tax preparers provide free, basic income tax preparation services to community members who are low to moderate income families and individuals. The program will run from Nov. for training until end of tax season April 15, 2018. Receive training at no cost via the IRS Link & Learn internet based program (linklearncertification.com) or join us in the classroom. All resources needed to prepare taxes are supplied.
