Health Sciences staff collecting cleaning supplies for flood-hit neighbors

A large number of families in northern and north central West Virginia are still cleaning up from the devastating floods that hit the area in late July.

Employees at the Health Sciences Center are collecting cleaning supplies to assist the effort. Collection boxes have been placed outside of The Market (near the elevators), near the HSC Bookstore, by Cavanaugh's and at the front entrance to Health Sciences South. Donations can also be brought to the WV-INBRE office, G-103-N, across from the bookstore. The collection will end Aug. 17.

Supplies needed include:

  • N95 respirator masks
  • push brooms
