Junior Grant Hussey with the baseball team made history for the Mountaineers as he hit two home runs against Pitt at PNC Park to become the new WVU home run king. He now has 36 in his career, one more than Jedd Gyorko and Tim McCabe.

The track and field team completed the regular outdoor season Saturday (May 4) as host of the WVU Last Chance Meet at the Track and Field Complex at Mylan Park. Redshirt senior Mikenna Vanderheyden closed out the meet with a first place finish in the women’s 3,000-meter steeplechase.
