Workshops to highlight literature reviews, measuring impact, Mendeley’s citation manager software

Evansdale Library will host three more workshops this semester. No registration necessary. Bring a laptop or use a library computer. All sessions are in room 130. For more information, contact Beth Royall, beth.royall@mail.wvu.edu.

March 14, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.— Introducing the process of doing a literature review, which should be particularly useful for graduate students looking ahead to their theses or dissertations.

March 15, 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.— Barbara Hengemihle and Linda Blake will demonstrate ways to measure the impact of scholarly research. March 23, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.— Virginia Desouky will introduce Mendeley, a free, online citation manager that helps users collect and organize research.
